Humpback Whale Blows
Humpback whales come to the surface to blow out old air and take in fresh oxygen. We are in Alaska enjoying the sight of humpbacks in pairs or alone, spouting at different times of day. During the day the whale’s mist resembles a geyser, and after sunset looks like smoke on the water. See more photos of humpback whales breaching, bubble-net feeding, tails and underwater.
